Week 6

This is the first week of Fall! I hope you are all ready for the cooler weather!

This week, core classes will be administering Galileo tests. These are pre-tests, which mean they might be asking you to answer questions about a topic you haven't learned yet, but will learn throughout the school year. Please don't stress over these tests, but know that our staff uses the data from the Galileo assessments to help us make sure we are covering the state curriculum and providing you the best possible education. Your completion of these assessments will result in a participation grade in each of your core classes too!

Reminder:
COUNT DAY is next week on Wednesday, October 2. It will be important for students to log into and work in all of the core classes (Math, ELA, Social Studies, and Science). Colorado Department of Education takes a close look at online schools in regards to attendance so please mark this day on your calendar as a MUST for logging into Moodle!

Have a great week!

Clarification on a couple items:

-Seniors do not take the Galileo Tests. Your teachers will exempt you from this assignment.

-Galileo tests are NOT optional. The data is necessary for our school to evaluate the curriculum we are providing.
