International Space Station

If you missed it last night, the International Space Station will fly over Colorado again this evening (Wednesday, Oct 9). If it is a clear evening you will be able to see it fly over. It will appear at 7:14 PM for the Front Range and San Luis Valley, 7:13 PM for the Durango area. It will come out of the SW, be visible for 6 min, reach a maximum height above the horizon of 60 degrees and disappear to the ENE. It generally appears as a very bright star moving across the sky, and then fades in brightness as it moves away from you. It is clearly visible with the unaided eye.
