Hello and welcome back for the Spring 2024 semester!  This semester is shaping up to be as busy as the first.  An item that keeps our school very busy this semester is PSAT, SAT, and state CMAS testing.

We are excited to see all of your hard work pay dividends this spring and are in full swing of planning testing locations and coordinating proctors (your teachers) throughout the state.  To most effectively do this, we need to know if you are planning to participate in state testing this spring.  Our goal as a school is to make this process as easy as possible for our families.

What do we need from you?

Here is what we know:

  • CMAS test window is open April 15 - 25

    • All students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11

    • Grades 3 - 8 complete ELA and Math CMAS

    • Grades 5, 8, and 11 complete Science CMAS

  • PSAT test dates will be April 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, or 25 (on-site).  1 day will be selected.

    • Remote test dates will be April 15 - 25 (Dates and locations to be determined)

    • 9th and 10th grade students only

    • PSAT will build off CMAS from prior years and prepare students for the SAT

    • PSAT will be digital this year

  • SAT

    • On-site (in our building) administration will take place on April 16, 17, 23, or 24 (not all four days, but one of these days)

    • Only 11th grade students

    • Aligned to classroom curriculum in preparation for college and career readiness

    • Students can take the SAT onsite at our building or will be registered to take the assessment closer to home during the weekend administration on Mar 9, 2024.

      • Please complete the form above indicating if you plan to test on-site (April) or off-site (March)

      • If you plan to test in March, the school will assist with the registration process.

    • SAT will be digital this year

  • NWEA - Test window is open April 22 - May 10

    • District-level assessments that are required for ALL students

    • MVOLA tests in the areas of ELA, Math, and Science

Why is Your Participation Important?

  • Our school is proud of what we do - it takes your results for us to continue to grow our school and curriculum.

  • MVOLA students are the best!  Over the years, test participation has been a very small percentage of our student population.  Our goal is to have over 90% participation.

  • MVOLA students historically perform well on standardized tests…we want to know what you know.
