Hello and welcome to the 2023/2024 school year!  We are preparing for NWEA testing, which is required for all MVOLA students and will take place next week (8/22 - 8/24).  NWEA is a remote assessment that requires parent/guardian proctors.  We ask that students work independently with no distractions.

You will be receiving information from your advisor about NWEA Testing next week.  Testing will take place on August 22nd, 23rd, and 24th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Here is the rundown -

When:

  • Tuesday, August 22nd, log on anytime between 1 - 3:30 p.m. (Reading)

  • Wednesday, August 23rd, log on anytime between 1 - 3:30 p.m. (Math)

  • Thursday, August 24th, log on anytime between 1 - 3:30 p.m. (Science)

What to expect:

  • Your advisor will email you a link, session name, and passcode to each test before 12:45 pm each day; you can access the test anytime after that up through 3:30 p.m. (test must be started by 3:30 p.m. and can go past 4 p.m. but if your test is paused, it cannot be reset until the next school day).

  • Students usually spend about one hour on each test.  It's okay to spend more or less time as needed.  Rapid guessing closes the test and you have to wait for it to be re-opened by a test administrator.

  • This is a required assessment for all MVOLA students.

  • To access the test, you will need to follow this link or the one provided by your advisor prior to testing (same link).

Thank you for doing your part to help make our school great!
