Good morning MVOLA!!! We are nearing the end of the school year, which means that we tend to become very busy around here. In fact, just this morning, I saw a couple of teachers running down the hall one direction and then they were very quickly coming back the other way because they forgot something they needed. If you look up "Chicken with its head chopped off", you'll see a picture of the staff here right next to it. Alright, enough of my nonsense...let's get down to business.
This week is very busy for all of us. So you know, we have a DELTA (onsite school) field trip scheduled to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve this Thursday to do community service (tree planting), exploring around the dunes, learning about the history, and a cook out. We will all be out of the office. Please know there will be a delay in correspondence on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Also, the NWEA testing window has opened and we will begin this district assessment next week. Please be looking for more information coming on that this week from your grade level advisor. This is a required assessment in Math, ELA, and Science for all students and will be counted as a participation grade in all your courses. Please know this is coming and plan accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please reach out to your grade level advisor.
We are wishing you a great week and want you to know that we truly appreciate every one of you. We look forward to a hectic and successful completion to the school year. The craziness has begun!
