Students - The American Pioneer of Teaching Award is a competition PublicSchoolOptions.org holds each year to recognize top-performing K-12 teachers at alternative and online schools.
Have someone in mind? Nominating a teacher who has made in difference in your life is quick and easy - simply visit the nomination page through April 10 to tell PSO more about a teacher who innovates, excites and inspires in the classroom. The process is fun and only takes a few minutes!
PSO wants details, anecdotes and personal insight on why your teacher should win the 2014 American Pioneer of Teaching Award. Remember, your entry is the only information they have about your teacher’s qualifications so please be specific.
PSO will announce the top 10 finalists on April 24, at which point you, your family, your friends and your community members can cast votes for top teachers via Facebook. The finalist receiving the most votes will be announced as the winner on May 6, during National Teacher Appreciation Week.
