On February 5 a group of our school's students joined other online students from around the state at the State Capitol Building in Denver. The students participated in a rally on the front steps of the capitol, toured the building, and got to attend part of a legislative task force discussion on policies affecting online learning.
Devin Palomino did a great job talking to the committee about how being an online student has helped meet his needs and provided him with important opportunities. Way to represent OLA, Devin!
A special thanks goes out to Mr. Huff and Mr. Dawson for making the long trek to Denver with the students.
