Would you like to learn more about current events happening in our country relating to Immigration?  Join Mr Huff on Monday, November 10th at 10am, for a discussion of the balance of power between state and federal governments, powers of the president and Congress relating to immigration, protests happening around the country responding to current immigration policy, birthright citizenship, refugee acceptance and denial, deportations of non-citizens, and more.  Please PRE-REGISTER HERE by Thursday, November 6th.  Students who attend this lesson may skip one regular assignment from their social studies course.  To find out additional ways you can use this opportunity to earn extra credit, please email Mr Huff before Thursday, November 6th.
