First off I am sorry for any confusion about my announcement yesterday. I have received several very nice emails asking about Electives.
My announcement yesterday should have specified High School students. Middle and Elementary students are not required to have an Elective. If you are in 8th grade I would recommend an elective, from our Middle School offerings, but they are not required at all.
