Congratulations to all this year's OLA & DELTA graduates!

WOWZERS! Here we are starting the last week of the 2017-2018 school year! CONGRATULATIONS!

Some quick reminders as we close up the year and start summer break / summer school:

  • All student work is due this Wednesday (in two days) at 4pm. This allows teachers to submit grades by the end of the day Friday (like students, most teachers then leave for summer vacation until the middle of August).
  • If you haven't already, please let OLA know by Thursday, May 31 if you intend to return. If necessary, use this link to notify OLA of your intent to return: [ITR Link]
  • Please mail any textbooks and books with which you are finished back to OLA by the end of June. This way we can mail them out to students for next semester.
  • If you have loaned a Chromebook from OLA, and you are graduating or transferring to another school, please mail back the Chromebook and the charger by the end of June (please do not miss this deadline if it applies to you because soon after July 1, OLA has to report missing Chromebooks as stolen to local police departments).

Notes about summer school and next year:

  • OLA students on academic probation, please make sure you sign up for the summer program and pass two out of four core classes (core classes being English, social studies, math, and science); failure to pass two out of four core classes will result in not being allowed to finish the enrollment process for the 2018-2019 school year. [Summer Program Sign-Up Link]
  • After July 1, Residency Verification Forms (RVFs) will be mailed home. This document needs to be completed and mailed back (or scanned and emailed back) to OLA to complete enrollment and receive fall's class schedule, login information, etc. No RVF being received will result in not being allowed to finish the enrollment process for the 2018-2019 school year. Upon receiving your RVF in the mail in July, please return it to OLA asap.
  • The official first day of classes next year is Monday, August 20. Keep in mind, the first week of school is an "orientation week" in which staff will be helping all students get acquainted with their new schedules, new classes, etc. First assignments will be due the next week (Mr. Wright will provide a weekly semester schedule to keep everyone on the same page).

Thank you everyone for an amazing year! I'll post another announcement at the end of the week (officially starting summer and any last announcements about next year!). -Mr. Wright
