The purpose of English is to experience hands-on the beauty of language, and to understand the spirit, creativity and utility
that makes a language great, and to make that spirit and creativity an advantage to you when you use the language—whether
for art’s sake or for practical applications. In this class you will participate in three book reports which follow a non-traditional
discussion format that emphasizes your reading level, experience and interests. You will get to read from three examples of
well-known Literature. There are also a few short enrichment activities to introduce you to just a few of the world's great authors.
